A one-of-a-kind evening in a one-of-a-kind venue, this soiree brings together MOLLY RINGWALD, the film star and jazz singer, ROBERT PINSKY, the former U.S. Poet Laureate, and LAURENCE HOBGOOD, a brilliant jazz pianist. The party is a benefit for Caregifted, a non-profit started by the poet HEATHER McHUGH, who will also give a short reading. Enjoy food, drink, music, and clips from a film in progress in the exclusive and private boathouse of iconic Seattle artist Dale Chihuly. This many-roomed marvel is where many of Chihuly's creations are made, where his collections of other artists' work is on display, and where you'll have a view of Lake Union you've never seen before.
Doors open at 5 pm, show 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
