Zombie Killer…Qu’est-ce que c’est…B-B-B-Brains-B-B-B-B-Brains Brains…. The Talking Deads, a tribute band to The Talking Heads, are zombies from Hell back to rock you and eat you alive. They performing annually at The Neptune Theater on Halloween to hoards of the undead. May 14th they’ll be raising a set themed “A Weekend at David Byrnies” and talking on the summer undead party. Get your shades out and wish David Byrne a happy 62nd with Chop Suey!
BEAKR
Beakr is the electronic dance project of producer, Micah Smith. He has worked on remixes for Spoon, Hot Chip, Aloe Blacc, Feist, The Temper Trap, Phoenix and Metric, infusing his own unique perspective and colorful energy into the music.
Soul, electro, funk, hip-hop and indie rock are all tenets of his eclectic live shows. Beakr has composed and produced 5 albums including 16 remixes and held several top positions on Hype Machine in 2010.
