The Deafhood Monologues is an episodic play of Deaf experiences, chronicles and reflections delivered through poetry, stories, and presentations in American Sign Language. Inspired by “Understanding Deaf Culture: In Search of Deafhood” and “The Vagina Monologues.” Created by Ella Mae Lentz. Proceeds go to the Deafhood Foundation and Deaf Spotlight.

The Deafhood Foundation is a nonprofit community foundation dedicated to achieving economic and social justice for all Deaf people.

Deaf Spotlight is a non-profit organization with the mission is to inspire, encourage, and showcase creative works of, by, and for Deaf people in the Pacific Northwest through events that celebrate Deaf culture and American Sign Language.
