Jeff Ayers reviews books for the Associated Press and Library Journal, which honored him as Fiction Reviewer of the Year for 2012. He also reviews for Booklist, RT Book Reviews, and Suspense Magazine—for which he co-hosts an internet radio show that interviews authors (at blogtalkradio.com/suspensemagazine).

Ayers writes books, too. His latest, LONG OVERDUE, described as "Die Hard in a library," is a somewhat satirical thriller set in the downtown Seattle Public Library. Jeff is well-known for his mammoth 700-page "Voyages of Imagination: The Star Trek Fiction Companion," which covers all the novels and stories written about the Star Trek series.

Jeff serves as associate editor of Author Magazine and secretary of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association. He lives in Shoreline with his wife and children and works with the Seattle Public Library.
