Bastille Day Fete at The Corson Building

Thu, Jul 14, 2011 at 3pm

This event has passed.

Bastille Day Fête: an afternoon and evening of music, food and fun to celebrate friends, family and Francophonic traditions.

Sounds include live music by Caspar Babypants aka Chris Ballew of The Presidents of the United States of America, Diminished Men and Eldridge Gravy and the Court Supremes.

During the day, your kids will enjoy carnival games, story time, chicken races and a jump in the bounce house.

Prepare to be astounded by Andrew Evans, Illusionist Extraordinaire. In the evening, relax in the hookah lounge while you receive a henna tattoo and listen to live music.

Savor a smorgasbord of oysters, merguez sandwiches, cous cous salad, crepes, arak iced mint tea and more by Wylie Bush and Matt Dillon of The Corson Building. Also enjoy food by Nettletown and The Walrus and The Carpenter.

Quirky illusionists, chicken races, pétanque, carnival games, bike-powered hijinx, goat staring and a Francosonic DJ will sweep you away in Parisian style.

Thursday, July 14th, 3pm to midnight. Tickets will be $35 at the door.
