Seattle Community Puppet Day
Seattle Community Puppet Day is a public event celebrating the puppet arts, encouraging youth participation and development in arts and culture, and a volunteer clean-up effort in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Festival attendees will be able to attend an afternoon of free performances and workshops. Don't forget the Puppet Parade!
All events are FREE and open to the public. Funding provided by the Neighborhood Matching Fund from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods. Tickets are required to ensure safe capacity.
Together with members of the public, we will clean up litter over Capitol Hill on Saturday, August 6th, before welcoming the community to a FREE fun-filled community fair at Seattle Central providing free performances, arts and crafts activities, local tabling, and more! Volunteers will help collect litter in an area bordering Seattle Central College (Harvard Ave on the West, Denny Street on the North, Cal Anderson park (11th) on the East, and Pine St on the South). The intent is to improve the Broadway area (between Denny and Pine) and Cal Anderson park for everyone to enjoy over the weekend.
