Max Presents A Picture Paints A Thousand Words - Bondage Behind The Scenes - Featuring Lew Rubens

If you're a bondage aficionado you've probably heard of Lew Rubens.

Lew hails from Seattle, like Max, and they've been friends for nearly 20 years. Lew has spent much of that time as a professional rigger, both for his own web sites and for Kink.com.

He's built a vast portfolio of images and video, including many of the iconic bondage scenes that we've all see online.

A few months ago Max was asking Lew some "behind the scenes" questions about one of those photos. The results were so engaging and surprising that they decided to wrap an event around these fascinating stories.

This event features some of Lew's most dramatic photos and videos. For each one, Lew will discuss the technical elements that made the shot possible, the people who contributed to the scene, and the vision that led to the shot.

The tone will be conversational, with Max interviewing Lew. There will be plenty of time for questions, so bring your curiosity!

As always, the emphasis is on learning and having fun.

Experienced rigger and suspension artist Lew Rubens has a love and passion for bondage that shows in his work. Known mostly for his wild suspensions, Lew joined the public side of BDSM play in the spring of 2001, with his first website, BoundNDetermined.com, and teaching his unique, simple "Lewbari" bondage style.

When he's not teaching, Lew concentrates on video production and his new product store, TheLewbariStore, where he showcases his wild and crazy inventions and many other fun bondage and BDSM toys.
