BrandonLee Cierley is a Saxophonist born in Tacoma, WA now relocated to Portland, OR whose music seemingly combines elements from sounds that have influenced his musical voice such as Modern Jazz, Groove, R&B & Hip Hop. During his time in Washington State, BrandonLee pursued his Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science & Music from Pacific Lutheran University.
While being a band leader and solo artist, BrandonLee has showcased his talents working with some of the music scene's most exciting producers/artists around the world such as; LofiJazzSoul Founder/Portland based Trumpeter Farnell Newton, EyeLoveBrandon, Jetfuel Jayy, Jonny Tobin, multi-instrumentalist from Portland Machado Mijiga, and Portland based Producer POSY to name a few. In 2018, BrandonLee Cierley ventured into exploits outside of his staple genre to be a guest artist with TwoFriends, LA Dj Duo, at sold out music festivals Lucky & Paradiso. Recently, BrandonLee has joined the stage with world renowned Saxophonist Mike Phillips who has played with musical giants such as Michael Jackson, Prince & Stevie Wonder for his appearance at the PDX Jazz Festival 2023.
BrandonLee Cierley has been a featured performer on Seattle's KNKX for multiple Live Studio Sessions and his music has also been featured continuously on PDX's KMHD Jazz Station.
BrandonLee Cierley released his debut album "Here Comes a New Challenger" in July of 2020 bringing in over 20k streams and counting which earned him a spot on PDX's jazz station KMHD's Best Single of the Year.
July 2022, BrandonLee released a much anticipated summer 2-pack EP "Thank You for Waiting" which featured LA-based Saxophonist Braxton Cook and was placed on Spotify Editorial Playlists such as: Smooth Jazz Beats, Smooth Beats & Fresh Finds: Jazz reaching over 1 million streams and counting.
In March 2023, BrandonLee Cierley got the opportunity to open up for Braxton Cook at the Jack London Revue for Braxton's "Black Nostalgia Tour".
BrandonLee released his sophomore record "Camaraderie" in 2022 through the PDX based label Lofijazzsoul receiving album reviews from one of Seattle prestigious jazz writers, Paul Rauch, from "All About Jazz" as well as from Robert Ham of "Jazz Society of Oregon''. With that, BrandonLee's newest album has been placed on a plethora of playlist placements including 2 of Spotify's biggest followed Editorial Playlist, "All About Jazz" & "Fresh Finds: Jazz".
Since then, BrandonLee has been continuously releasing new music through the Lofijazzsoul label. BrandonLee recently released a Live Studio Session EP "Live at Page St Sound Lab '' as well as releasing an EP with Portland based Producer POSY entitled "Letters to Japan'' to pay homage to their Japanese heritage and is currently working on his next album set to be released in 2024.
