Today, she enjoys a bi-monthly residency at Joketeller’s Union, where she subjects unsuspecting audiences to her unhinged, yet cloyingly earnest, powerpoint presentations. Her other hobbies include: co-hosting Strumpet Radio Hour with her lifelong bully, posting cries for help on Instagram.com (@8bitbean), and painting furniture in the middle of the night.
Monica Nevi - Monica Nevi is a native of Washington State, a collegiate basketball player, after injuries ended her career she decided to move forward with the other thing people love for women to do and pursue her strong interest in stand-up comedy. She has been seen on FOX’s Laughs TV Show as well as in sketches on ESPN’s Sports Center. Monica’s debut standup special “Big Stepdad Energy” was released in 2022 with Helium Comedy Studios and was voted one of the Top 50 specials or albums of the year by We Own The Laughs. She followed it up in 2023 with a holiday comedy special called “Jokes for the Holidays” that has become a seasonal favorite.
