Sensori Art After Dark
Experience a different way to create. Join us for the Sensori Art workshop, a unique exploration of creativity, pleasure, and expression, co-facilitated by Dr. Udim Isang and artist Rae Akino.
Hosted by Gallery Erato, a space dedicated to art celebrating sexuality, gender, and identity, the workshop will encourage attendees to connect deeply with themselves and each other. This immersive experience will include sensory-rich art activities, engaging prompts, all within a supportive, consent-oriented environment. You can attend by yourself or as a couple. Blind-folded, you will paint while being stimulated according to what you feel, hear, smell. The goal is to create a piece of art using all your senses, where the act of creating is also art. We will have canvas aprons avaialble to protect your clothing, or participants may choose to remove articles of clothing to enhance comfort and mood.
No experience in art making is required. All art supplies are included with admission, as well as desserts, non-alcoholic drinks, one raffle ticket, and a gift bag.
Doors open at 8pm for meeting your instructors, socializing, and settling in. Please arrive by 8:15pm for the consent and intention setting part of the instruction. There will be an intermission for socializing in the middle of the class, and gifts will be raffled off. After the formal instruction is over, you are invited to share your creations and experience with the group in a relaxed social atmosphere.
A cash bar will be available during the social times and breaks in instruction.
This event is a fundraiser for the 2025 Seattle Erotic Art Festival.
