Sensual Chair Yoga
(bringing a blanket and mat is highly recommended) This class will bring out the heat that fuels you through Sensual Yoga, indulging in poses that are cradled and assisted by a chair to deepen your exploration without asking too much of our bodies. While Sensual Yoga can be many things, in this workshop we will focus on blending yoga with your own flow and breath to build trust in your play. This will be a slow practice for time to rest, connect, and explore in your movement. The practice will truly be your own with permission to adjust for your body, your heart, and your mind.
Lights will be lowered, music will encourage your poses to fuse with your dance or sways or touch. Students are welcome to wear clothing that helps you bring out your sensual self, with layers highly encouraged. For extra comfort- please bring a blanket and mat.

Find Hannah Joy teaching Soothing Nights, Slow Burn, and Transition Skills Lab
Music has always been a huge part of Hannah's life, growing up in a music educator's home. That connection inspired a dance and movement journey that weaved from musical theatre box steps all the way to teaching both yoga and pole dance. Hannah has received formal education and training in Music and Theatre degrees with a minor in Education, Yoga Teaching training from Synergy Yoga Teaching Training and Sugar and Sage's Sensual Yoga Teacher Training programs; pole certification in 2019 with years of teaching experience mainly focused on freestyle dance development. In all movement modalities, permission is at the center. Permission for students to take up space and to find their own signature. Hannah Joy enjoys time outside of movement on her exploration of good food with friends and incredible partner and of course, cuddles or adventure with her beloved pup, Maisie.
