Volunteer Park is a jazz act with influences that stretch from folk and the American Songbook to Burial and Squarepusher. The group offers a synthetic approach to composition and performance. Originally based in Seattle, they've performed in diverse settings traversing the west coast for over 3 years.
Ari Okin is a 21-year-old eclectic singer-songwriter in Seattle, studying ethnomusicology and recording music wherever she can. Her funky rhythms and aerial vocals captivate audiences globally, vibrating at Whisky a Go-Go, throughout the Seattle scene, and in Jazz bars across Spain. Ari uses her melodic wits and striking vocal presence in her debut EP "Peach Conformity".
