Lead by two time Grammy nominated guitarist Doug Munro, La Pompe Attack presents an exciting, updated interpretation of the hot swing sound of Django Reinhardt, coupled with Doug’s own unique and highly entertaining style of playing and singing. The concerts for the 2025 season will focus on celebrating the musical legacy of Django Reinhardt. Drawing from Django’s extensive recorded library as well as material from La Pompe Attack’s last two releases, these shows are hi energy swing of the highest order. La Pompe Attack always delivers an exciting show guaranteed to wow any audience!
“The real pleasure of New York guitarist Munro’s album rests in his obvious fondness for Django Reinhardt and the Quintette du Hot Club de France. His care and craft are at a high level.”

Seattle’s very own Seattle Jazz Guitar Society will be our show opener, featuring some of the best local jazz guitarists along with an amazing rhythm section. They are a fixture on the Seattle jazz scene and we’re looking forward to having them join us at the Royal Room to kick off an unforgettable evening of Live Jazz.
