It would be hard to name one single person who had more influence on both New Orleans R&B and American popular music than Allen Toussaint. Songwriter, musician, arranger, producer - he did it all. Such a wide variety of musicians from diverse genres covered his tunes that his music can’t be lumped into just one category: Elvis Costello, Dr. John, Patti LaBelle, Otis Redding, The Rolling Stones, Lee Dorsey, The Meters, Irma Thomas, Boz Scaggs, Glen Campbell, Devo, Bonnie Raitt, The Band…the list goes on and on. The Royal Room presents a line up of some of Seattle’s finest musicians in this evening of tribute. You may be surprised at what you hear… Featuring Jeff Fielder, Michael Stegner, Skerik, Alex kitchenis, Andy Stoller, Eric Eagle, Naomi Siegel, Thaddeus Turner and more.
Please note: Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. For sold out shows standing room may be the only available space. Please come early to ensure you get a table. Reservations can be made for those who are coming for dinner as well as the show. The Royal Room is all ages until 10pm.
