Aditi has received intense training in the traditional style, characterized by the dedicated and close tutelage of her Guru and father, Pandit Dinkar Kaikini, himself a grand and renowned musician of the Agra Gharana, and her mother, Shashikala Kaikini, respected radio vocalist and current Principal of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Music School in Bombay. Aditi expertly and dedicatedly continues her family’s tradition of generously sharing its secrets with those willing to learn. She is a devoted Guru to a select group of students, and is invited regularly to conduct in-depth workshops for students in the United States.
