- Must be at least six years old to join the tour. Attendees six and older are welcome visit each stop of the tour including our stop at Fremont Brewing, although guests must be 21+ to enjoy the complimentary pint.
Don't miss out on going behind the scenes of local Seattle Made member Fremont businesses who produce your favorite coffee, chocolate, beer, clothing, and more! Get a taste of the local goods that are made in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood!
Our tour will stop at three locations:
2:00 - 3:25 Pelington Village (home to a variety of local producers!)
3:45 - 4:45 Theo Chocolate
5:00 - 5:30 or longer! - Fremont Brewing
We'll start our group tour at Pellington Village, a collection of businesses and small shops including welders, ironworkers, electricians, and skilled craftspeople. Jesse at Conduit Coffee will offer attendees the opportunity to get hands-on with the coffee roasting process; learn about green bean sourcing, and of course, enjoy a cup of coffee! Jesse will lead the group to visit several other village tenants, including woodworkers and metal fabricators. Pelington Village holds a special place in Fremont hosting one of the few remaining production spaces in the neighborhood. Tenants contribute to the cooperative spirit where skills, materials, and general know-how are shared and bartered.
Our next stop will be at Theo Chocolate for their signature factory tour. Taste your way through the incredible cocoa farm to chocolate bar journey! During this hour-long interactive experience, you'll discover the origins of cacao, see how Theo Chocolate crafts their chocolate from scratch in Fremont, and learn about the close partnerships that have been cultivated with the farmers. Plus, you'll get an inside view of the factory to see where the magic happens. And what chocolate experience would be complete without tasting? During your visit, you'll indulge in a wide range of treats, from nationwide bestsellers to hand-crafted confections.
We'll conclude our tour with a stop at Fremont Brewing, a family-owned craft brewery founded in 2009 to brew small-batch artisan beers made with the best local ingredients. Fremont Brewing hosts two production facilities in the neighborhood. We'll enjoy a beer at their urban beer garden located on N 34th Street. Stay for as little or long as you like as we wrap up our Fremont production space tour!
A special thanks to Fremont Chamber of Comerce for support of this tour! All participating tour stops are also members of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce.
